It has been All About Us since the inception of the HardRiders of Houston organization began with three Houstonians who had a vision to form a motorcycle club in the city of Houston. In the year of 2000, Leon Hardison, Jimmie Davis and Darvin Scott spearheaded the concept of organizing several friends who were occasionally joining hands and riding mostly on weekends in the surrounding area of Houston. While pondering with how we were going to be shaped as a group, we decided that our interests should be more than joy riding. We wanted to also ride with a purpose in mind. After a few meetings with friends, we eventually became a motorcycle club and selected a name that would not only be solely indicative to hard riding, but a name that would demonstrate a positive image and a strong collaboration with the community as a whole. In the last two years we have outlined and followed a set agenda that has now made us an elite organization. We have positioned ourselves in the community to help put smiles on underplevidged children faces; we have visited the sick and shut-in, fed and clothed the homeless and provided an array of individual services from members in our organization who were not seeking personal recognition. This is why we are characterized with such uniqueness. We are dedicated members who have a profound sense of commitment with the community. However, on the other hand, community projects are not the only sought out events, we enjoy giving wonderful social events. And this is evidence by some of the pictures shown on our web site. By far, the Hardriders’ bike events have been the hottest, most exuberating, exhilarating experience for the general public and bikers alike. By no means, the Hardriders will restrict ourselves to community services…we love the idea of engaging deeply with the parties given by our group. After being dedicated and working extremely hard with our professional lives, the Hardriders of Houston have no qualms about being wild and crazy-that is of course if the wildness is tasteful and purely for fun. After all this organization is “All About Us”…but figuratively speaking; we would not be successful if it was not “All About You”!!! Your Hardrider's Vice President Frazier
